Getting to Waikare Golf Club

Waikare Golf Club is conveniently located in Te Kauwhata, making it easily accessible whether you're coming from Auckland, Hamilton, or the surrounding areas.

• From Auckland: Head south on State Highway 1 (SH1) towards Hamilton. Continue on SH1 for approximately 60 kilometers. Take the Te Kauwhata exit (Exit 363), and follow Te Kauwhata Road into the town. Once in Te Kauwhata, turn left onto Waerenga Road. Continue straight, and you’ll find Waikare Golf Club on your right after about 2 kilometers.
• From Hamilton: Travel north on State Highway 1 (SH1) towards Auckland. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the Te Kauwhata exit (Exit 363). Follow Te Kauwhata Road into the town, then turn left onto Waerenga Road. Continue straight, and the golf club will be on your right after about 2 kilometers.
• From the Coromandel Peninsula: Take State Highway 2 (SH2) towards Mangatarata, then merge onto State Highway 27 (SH27) heading south. Turn right onto State Highway 26 (SH26), then left onto Tahuna Road, which eventually becomes Waerenga Road. Continue straight through Te Kauwhata, and the golf club will be on your right shortly after you leave the town.

Once on Waerenga Road, you’ll notice the lush green fairways and signage leading you to the club entrance. There’s ample parking available, so you can relax and enjoy your visit.
